Wade Vienneau
Wade Vienneau took his first pottery class after leaving a stressful job in IT. He found the time spent at a community pottery studio enriching and fell in love with the process of working with clay and the community which supported local artists. His curiosity brought him to join different associations where he met many influential people who shaped the way he thought about clay. He attended the Haliburton School of the Arts, where he successfully completed a four-month intensive ceramics program in 2011.
Wade took his knowledge with him on posting to Mozambique where he explored craft within the African context in South Africa, Eswatini, and Mozambique. After returning to Canada Wade decided to attend Sheridan College where he obtained his Bachelor of Craft and Design, Honours in Ceramics, in 2025.
