Scott Jordan

Scott is a retired scientist who secretly always wanted to throw pots (really!). When retirement came along, he had the time to make this dream come true. After taking many courses he had the chance to contribute to the Hintonburg Pottery community by teaching - and he eagerly jumped on board.
One of Scott's favourite things has always been to teach and mentor others, a passion he developed in university and during his career. He loves to meet other people and share his experiences, in this case with pottery! His work continues to evolve and he learns much from other teachers and students, too. Scott likes to throw all sorts of things, and especially loves the variety of shapes and sizes of the bowls he has made. He finds wheel-throwing meditative as well as creative and he wheely can't wait to share clay with you! Scott also likes puns - can you tell?
