Our Community Outreach

Hintonburg Pottery’s loyal patrons have played an important role in the growth of our business. Our valued members have enabled us to invest in our vision of a community creating together.

Hintonburg Pottery is proud to host fundraising events providing support for the Parkdale Food Centre and Front Line workers in Ottawa, under the direction of the organization Soul Space. Street health workers risk: damaging burn-out, vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue. Hintonburg Pottery regularly provides workshops and contributes to ongoing day and weekend retreats to assist in providing respite to support Soul Space working with the Front Line Workers.

Our Studio is a gathering place for many seeking a space to retreat from the-day-to-day stresses of life. Inside our studio walls, barriers are broken through mutual support of each individual’s creative journey. Whether modelling for the first or the one hundredth time, our team of artists and community members share in the same passion for art, creation, and interpersonal discovery.

Hintonburg Pottery’s greatest treasure goes beyond clay and reaches something far deeper - our story, and the wonder of creation.

Other organizations we have supported over the last 10 years are:

Ottawa Youth Services Bureau.  A New Day Program.  L'arche Community
