Julia Jeffrey-Garza

Julia first discovered pottery in 2015, where she was introduced to handbuilding by her great aunt, who is a talented ceramic artist in Mexico.
Since then, Julia’s been a hobbyist, and most recently began teaching handbuilding workshops at Hintonburg Pottery. Her favourite things to build are functional and playful home wares, with detailed underglazing.
Julia integrates art into her everyday life through watercolour, polymer clay sculpting, and various fibre arts. During the day, she works as a Registered Psychotherapist, integrating artistic expression and creativity into her personal and professional practice.
