Jenn’s obsession with clay began in 2016 after a single wheel-throwing class in Ottawa. From the moment she felt the clay moving beneath her fingers, she was hooked. For Jenn, the wheel offers a rare sense of flow—a meditative, rhythmic experience she finds strikingly similar to the steady glide of cross-country skiing.

What started as a hobby quickly became a passion. Jenn dedicated a lot of her free time (and a fair bit of her "fun budget") to practicing the craft through endless classes. When the opportunity arose to join the Hintonburg Pottery team, she didn't hesitate to leap into the world of professional ceramics.

Today, Jenn channels that same focus and energy into her role as our Studio Manager. She oversees the day-to-day business operations, ensuring the studio runs as smoothly as a well-centered piece of clay.
