Diane Black Expressions
This is a sculpture workshop that focuses on faces and how we “make” them. The workshop is for anyone who is interested in the fascinating field of figurative sculpture, both human and animal. As individuals participants work with their own concepts, we will focus on the way communication happens through facial expressions and subtle gestures. Also addressed will be the challenges of sculpting in clay without armatures, mounting options, and surface treatments including slips, underglazes and cold finishes.
