Join Hintonburg Pottery staff & volunteers on Saturday, November 22nd, from 10 AM to 2:30 PM for their festive holiday open house! This event is a fundraiser for the Parkdale Food Centre, and it's a perfect chance to get creative while supporting a great cause.
You have two main ways to participate:
Holiday Pottery Painting
Unleash your creativity and paint a holiday ornament! Choose from a fun selection: mitten, Xmas tree, heart, star, circle, bulb and a gingerbread person. Leave your masterpiece with us, and we'll glaze and fire it for you. $12 per person includes your choice of ornament. All proceeds will be donated to the Parkdale Food Centre.
Want to paint something bigger? Feel free to upgrade to a bowl, a mug, a planter or a vase for an additional fee. Come in and see what speaks to you!
Walk-ins welcome but we recommend booking ahead.

Try the Wheel:
Adults and Teens 12 +
Experience level: Beginner
Want a "taste" of pottery? Try a mini 60-minute throwing session on the wheel and help us raise money for Parkdale Food Center Learn the magic of shaping clay with our instructors. Sessions are offered at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
Only $50 per person (reduced from $120 for our usual 2 hour workshop). You will be invited to keep your favorite pot and select a color to glaze it in. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks. We will try to have it ready by xmas but the Kiln gods rule, so no promises.
