Emily Richards

Emily Richards is a New Brunswick potter currently working at Hintonburg Pottery Studio. Once an adventurous child who loved playing in mud puddles, Emily is now a contemporary potter, still playing with mud but focused on functional production and decorative forms. Richards' work is heavily inspired by nature. She expresses this love by designing pottery with captivating landscapes bringing the world of nature to fit in the palm of your hand. At the young age of 22, Richards has already completed a certificate in Foundation Visual Arts, a diploma in Fine Craft Ceramics and a graduate certificate in Advanced Studio Practice at New Brunswick College of Craft & Design.
