We have many great tools available for you to use in the studio: newspaper, plastic for wrapping, boards, textures, rolling pins, stamps, molds, banding wheels, glaze rugs, scissors, tape, glaze tongs, pens/pencils, grinder and the slab roller.

As we adjust to our bigger group of studio potters, we have found there are a few tools/supplies that we need to kindly ask members to bring in for their own use:

  • Aprons: Our apron laundry is a little out of control, it would help us a great deal if you could provide and wash your own apron and we could keep ours a little cleaner for classes.

  • Slip: It is easy to make yourself a little slip using your clay (even better if it’s the clay that’s come off your pots while throwing) and some water.  Mix the clay and water and leave it to sit in a jar and you’ll come back to great slip that you can use to attach handles, make hand-built pieces etc.
