OPTION #1:
HAND-BUILD your new favourite piece of functional art!
PD DAY KIDS CLAY CAMP!(9AM - 12 PM)
Kids camp is the perfect way for your little ones to engage in some creative and social activity while school is closed. Our wonderful teacher, will guide them through hand-building techniques and encourage them to follow their imaginations through clay. They'll build, decorate, paint, and bring their ideas to life. This workshop is for kids 8-12 years old.

COFFEE POUR-OVER WORKSHOP (2 HR)
Create your very own coffee pour-over using white stoneware. Guided by our amazing teachers, you will explore how to create pottery using slab-building techniques as well as how to texturize and decorate. This workshop is suitable for students 12 and older.

ANIMAL POT WORKSHOP (2 HR)
OPTION #2:
SPIN THE WHEEL and try your hand at making a BOWL!
Try something really different with one of our SPIN THE WHEEL INTRO WORKSHOPS. This 2-hour session is designed to give you the very first steps for "throwing" pottery... (you know, the way they did in the movie GHOST?)
The wheel is a dynamic and exciting way to make pottery that works best with a fun attitude and a willingness to GET DIRTY. Your teacher will walk you through every step, and then you will "throw" as many as you can! You'll each pick your favourite masterpiece, and our studio will do the rest. Three weeks later, your pot will be glazed and ready to be a permanent fixture in your home.
These workshops are suitable for kids 12 years and older, and all ages beyond that are welcome and encouraged to join in!

OPTION #3:
Paint Your Own Hand-Made Pottery!
*NO INSTRUCTOR*
Not up to making your own piece of pottery this time? No worries! Our trusty team of potters here at Hintonburg Pottery have done the work for you and thrown a variety of beautiful vessels on the wheel, ready for you to apply your creative finishing touches. This activity is suitable for kids 5 and older. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
