Diane Black

Diane Black is a Kingston artist who loves bringing characters to life in clay! She began in the field of book illustration and the telling of stories remains a central theme in her figurative clay sculpture. She also enjoys drawing on hand built functional pieces, believing that art should be experienced in the things we use everyday.

Maria Moldovan

Maria is a ceramic graduate of the University of Arts and Design in Cluj Napoca. "I was attracted to three-dimensional art. As a painter I could still use colour working with clay. Painting and ceramic art are part of my life journey. I enjoy painting children's illustrations - a fantastic world which captures my imagination and creativity! For me, creating art is a journey. I am inspired by landscapes, objects or living creatures. As I start to work with them atransformation of what I see comes through my pieces.

MThis class is for adults and teens 14 and up. Work with artist Maria Moldovan to create whimsical and festive ornaments First class is for creating and in the second will teach you her beautiful surface techniques.
