Throughout this class, you will have the opportunity to experience the art of creating beautiful objects on-the-wheel and with handbuilding.
During the first three weeks of this class, the Hintonburg Pottery team will navigate you through the stages of transforming a clump of mud into fully functioning cups, bowls, mugs, and other handmade treasures.
During the final two weeks of this class, students will explore a variety of techniques such as, stamping, coiling, pinching, carving, and surface decorating, to create unique handmade pieces. Completed samples will be provided and original ideas for transformative creation are always encouraged!
