Class Prerequisite: Students must complete two to three lessons of “Beginner Wheel Throwing” to participate.
In this intensive class, you must be able to center at least 2 pounds of clay and pull a pot that is taller than its width. The main focus of this class is to be able to pull up all clay from its bottom, utilizing all clay as efficiently as possible. Students will create tall cylinders of various shapes, and build lidded casserole dishes. This is an exciting adventure for those looking to hone their skills!
Please note, during the pandemic Hintonburg Pottery offers this class as a three-week program. All technicians will glaze students’ pots to ensure physical distancing within our glaze room.
